Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on www.appliance-direct.co.uk. Please read carefully and print a copy for reference.

1) All prices are shown in £ sterling, and include VAT. We reserve the right to change any advertised prices at any time prior to you placing an order.

2) All products are subject to availability . If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be notified immediately. Our site is updated regularly. We never send out substitute goods.

3) Delivery is available to UK MAINLAND CUSTOMERS ONLY. DELIVERY OUTSIDE OF MAINLAND UK IS NOT OFFERED ON THIS SITE unless by special arrangement.UK Mainland does not include Northern Ireland, Scottish Isles, Isle of Man or Isle of Wight.

4) Payment can be made by any major Credit or Debit card. Payment will be debited to your account before the dispatch of your purchase.

5) Delivery will usually be within 2 working days; a signature may be required. We will not charge your Credit or Debit card until a delivery date has been agreed with you.

6) We will endeavour to take all reasonable care, in so far as it possible to do so, to keep all details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering.

7) In the event that your product is lost or damaged in transit, not delivered as arranged or received damaged and/or faulty please contact us at your earliest convenience.

8) Under the Consumer Protection ( Distance Selling ) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods, without giving a reason. You must bear the costs of returning the goods to us. A refund will be given as soon as possible or at the latest within 30 days after the goods are received by us in complete and good condition.

9) Any goods for return to Appliance Direct under the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations (whether for collection by us at a charge or returned by the customer) must be packaged in a manner suitable for safe shipping. Appliance Direct will accept no responsibility for damage occuring to returned goods due to inadequate packaging. Any costs incurred in repairing or replacing goods damaged from being returned in inadequate packaging will be recovered from the consumer.

10) Should you ever have cause to make a complaint, we guarantee to respond within five working days.

11) We do not send out unsolicited marketing material.

12) Any data collected by us during the course of business with you is purely for our internal use and is not forwarded or sold to any third party.

13) Should you require to discuss any matter in private at any time, please contact our Customer Services Manager, Mr R. A. Corby.

14) None of the above affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

15) All items are covered by a 12 month parts and labour guarantee. We offer our customers the same level of care and service after they purchase items, as we do when we are selling it to them. We recommend that if customers are experiencing problems with their purchase that they look through any instruction manuals supplied thoroughly in the first instance. Experience tells us that many problems are solved this way. However, if problems persist please do contact us.
